What to look for

• The whole man does the thing the sentence says. He leans into the scuffed box, lifts the tray of components out, carries it across, sets it into the clean box. Nothing moves that the line does not ask for.
• The camera never moves. No push, no drift, no zoom. Everything you see moving is moving inside the frame — that is the difference between animation and a slideshow.
• No floating body parts. He is a complete figure, start to finish.
• The room is the original painting, untouched. Only the man was newly drawn.

Known rough edges — my own list, not yours to find

• He cuts off at the bench edge. That is deliberate — we are stood behind him — but the cut is a straight line and you may read it as flat.
• The switch between his reaching pose and his carrying pose is a short cross-fade, not real in-between animation. It is the cheapest honest way to do it; it can be smoothed.
• He glides rather than walks. No leg animation exists yet.

The question

Does this read as animated to you, or still as a moving picture? If the read is right, the other 78 scenes follow the same recipe and 31 of their backgrounds are already painted.
